Prokos lake

Fojnica is located in the exotic valley at 570 meters height above the sea level. Mountains Vranica, Bitovnja and Šćit embrace Fojnica. The Fojnica area is laved by the Fojnica, the Gvožđanka and the Jezernica rivers and by countless brooks. The Prokos lake on Vranica (1635 m) holds the rare Human-fish named Triton. Mountains comprising Bears, Boars, Golden Martens, Chamois’s, Grouses etc. The rivers and the lake rich with fish, in particular with the trout.
